Work started on our Islington townhouse extension last week and there’s already been plenty of action on site. The old roof has come down allowing two velux rooflights to be recycled and the original external walls have now been taken out. Despite the forest of temporary props it’s already possible to get a sense of the potential space that the new extension will create.

Brick Chameleon, the contractors, started the works on site by creating a temporary kitchen in the undisturbed front reception room, allowing the clients to stay in the house during the majority of the works.
